We are proud to have participated, with our company Agglomerati di Cemento, in this major redevelopment project that led to the transformation of the power plant, on the vonRoll site, into the Bern Musikhaus, a new training center for teachers in the field of music.
The power plant building, which dates back to 1910, was recognized as a historic asset and registered in the inventory of buildings to be preserved; this led, in 2004, to a call for bids whose winner was a project based on the NAAN (Neu Alt Alt Neu - New Old New) concept resulting in the preservation and reuse of two existing buildings, integrating them into two new large buildings.
Agglomerati di Cemento actively participated in this project with the production, at the Giubiasco building, of lintels and solid bricks, used for the interior. A production born from listening to the client: 5 shades of color that gave life to this masterpiece!
